  • Abigail Aleksander

    Abigail Aleksander (2000, UK) is a performer and maker based in Brussels. They graduated from P.A.R.T.S. in 2022, having previously trained at Centre for Advanced Training (The Place) and ArtsEd. Whilst studying, Abigail performed with, among others, BalletLORENT, Flexer & Sandiland, Jess and Morgs Films, Tavaziva and Maria Hassabi. Towards the end of their studies Abigail met choreographer and visual artist Philipp Gehmacher. Their projects together include: A LOT A PART A BODY (P.A.R.T.S.), The Slowest Urgency (an environment) and Windows, Doors, No Hindsight. Abigail’s other performance credits include: Michiel Vandevelde, Ends Of Worlds, Jan Martens’ any attempt will end in crushed bodies and shattered bones and Alexis Blake, crack nerve boogie swerve: the archive. Abigail joined Rosas in 2023 for EXIT ABOVE. Alongside performing, Abigail is currently developing their own choreographic work SKINFOLD with collaborator Mary Szydlowska which will premiere in May 2025.

  • Boštjan Antončič

    Boštjan Antončič (1980, Slovenia) started dancing in Plesni forum Celje with Goga Stefanovič-Erjavec and continued training at the Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance, where he danced in projects by Matjaž Farič, Susan Quinn, Mia Lawrence, and Matej Kejžar, and created his own performances. He taught workshops in Slovenia and around Europe, and was a faculty member at the High School for Contemporary Dance in Slovenia and SEAD in Salzburg. In 2005, he joined Rosas. He danced in many productions, including D’un soir un jour (2006), Bartók/Beethoven/Schönberg—Repertory Evening (2007), Steve Reich Evening (2007), Zeitung (2008), The Song (2009), En Atendant (2010), Cesena (2011), Drumming, Vortex Temporum (2013), Work/Travail/Arbeid (2015), Mitten wir im Leben sind/Bach6Cellosuiten (2017) and The Six Brandenburg Concertos (2018). He also participates in the (re) staging of Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker’s work, including Così fan tutte at the Paris Opera in 2017. Recently, he danced in the museum projects of the Dark Red series, the revival of En Atendant (2022), and Forêt (2022). Boštjan is also a part of Il Cimento dell’Armonia e dell’Inventione (2024).

  • Nassim Baddag

    Nassim Baddag (2000, France) was born in Saint-Maurice, France. At the age of nine, he started breaking, which he discovered while watching street performances in Paris. His curiosity prompted him to learn more about contemporary dance. He is inspired by the aesthetics of body shapes interrupted by animal-like movements. Together with his dance partner Arnaud Deprez, he founded the Montmartre Breaking Club. In 2021, he joined the dancer and choreographer Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui for the tour of Nomad and worked with him, as an actor, on the movie Backstage by Afef Ben, which premiered at the Venice International Film Festival in 2023. In 2024, Nassim joined Rosas for Il Cimento dell’Armonia e dell’Inventione. He also participated in the museum project Y at Museum Folkwang in Essen. He continues to work on his personal projects as a choreographer and video maker.

  • Laura Bachman

    Laura Bachman (1994, France) graduated from the Paris Opera ballet school in 2011. That same year, she joined the Paris Opera Ballet as a full-time member. During this time, she danced in classical ballets, neoclassical works, and contemporary pieces by Pina Bausch and Wayne McGregor. In 2016, she spent a few months in Los Angeles, as part of the LA Dance Project, and subsequently moved to Brussels, in order to become a full time member of Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker’s company, Rosas. In 2020, she became a freelance artist. Since then, she works for several choreographers and companies, including Boris Charmatz and the Tanztheater Wuppertal, and develops her own work. After directing a short dance film Chimera in 2021 (selections in SFDFF, InShadow Lisbon, and LISDF), she created her first evening-length piece, Ne me touchez pas (2023). It is currently on tour in France and Belgium. Through choreography she was able to connect with several artists and disciplines. She already created for cinema, music and opera (for Wes Anderson, Manele Labidi, Cédric Klapisch, Jain or Ron, among others).

  • Pierre Bastin

    Pierre Bastin (1998, Belgium) studied at the De! Kunsthumaniora in Antwerp before continuing his studies at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp from which he graduated in 2020. During the final year of the program, he had the opportunity to participate in the creation of Jan Martens' Any attempt will end in crushed bodies and shattered bones as an understudy, and he was a part of the tour. In 2020, Pierre also co-founded the Sidewards collective. Several projects have emerged from this collaboration: different dance performances, as well as two editions of Founteinfest, a festival about female pleasure. Pierre also participated in the creation of Tuur Marinus’s newest piece TH LNG GDBY. In 2023, he worked with Vera Tussing on the restaging of The palm of your hand and joined the cast of EXIT ABOVE by Rosas/ Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker. With a big heart for the environment and agriculture, Pierre wants to make ecology and environmental justice more accessible and understandable within the (cultural) world through his own work. After creating After all, a solo performance touching upon those matters, he is currently working together with Isabella Arboleda on a new duet called Porous, exploring further notions around ecology, activism and nature. Pierre is currently supported by Bal special, a nonprofit organization based in Liège. There he works, teaches and creates together with youngsters from 12 till 18 years old.

  • Jean Pierre Buré

    Jean Pierre Buré (1999, Santiago) is a Chilean dancer and performer, currently based in Brussels. He started dancing at 17 and has a background in circus, theatre, climbing, film and music. In 2019, he was accepted to P.A.R.T.S. where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 2022. At P.A.R.T.S., he created his solo’s 2 steps away from reality and Experiment N°2, which were presented at Dansand 2021 and the GXIII Graduation Festival EXiiiT. Jean Pierre also collaborated on many projects by fellow P.A.R.T.S. students, including One Duet with Urte Groblyte, CUANDO YA NO ESTÉ with Macarena Bielski López and FLIES by Renato Miskolczi. In 2022, Jean Pierre toured with Screws XL by Alexander Vantournhout. He joined Rosas in 2023 for EXIT ABOVE.

  • Lav Crnčević

    Lav Crnčević (1996, Serbia) started his artistic career at the primary music school for classical guitar and has a background in sport dancing as a child, competing representing Serbia. He graduated from the Lujo Davičo-ballet highschool in Belgrad, after which he joined P.A.R.T.S. in 2013. At P.A.R.T.S., Lav worked with many choreographers including David Zambrano, David Hernandez, Salva Sanchis, Marta Coronado, Libby Farr, as part of the training program. In the third year of his education at P.A.R.T.S., the school organized an exchange program which gave him the chance to spend two months in Senegal working with African students and choreographers in the Ecole des Sables. After his graduation in 2016 Lav joined Rosas for the exhibition Work/Travail/Arbeid at the Tate Modern (London) and for the revival of Rain. He has since also danced in Zeitung (2017), Mystery Sonatas / for Rosa (2022), the Dark Red series and the museum project Forêt (2022). Lav is also part of EXIT ABOVE (2023) and Il Cimento dell’Armonia e dell’Inventione (2024).

  • José Paulo dos Santos

    José Paulo dos Santos (1988, Brazil) started dancing as a tap dancer at Projeto Rithmus, a social project in his hometown Araraquara (São Paulo) in 2001. He received a scholarship to study ballet, contemporary and street dance at The Dance Center Gilsamara Moura in Araraquara. He started his professional career in 2005 when he joined Cia Shuffle Trips. He worked as a teacher and as a choreographer with local children through various social projects. In 2008, he was invited to IPL - International Laboratory Performance - in Peru to work with artists from South America and Europe under the direction of Khosro Adibi (Iran-Holland). In the meantime, he made the piece Inside Out, directed by Khosro Adibi in Belo Horizonte (Brazil). In 2008, he came to Brussels to study at P.A.R.T.S. During his studies, he had the opportunity to teach at Dancingkids, Rosas’ dance school for children, to perform KDO, directed by Franco Dragone (Cirque du Soleil) and to participate in numerous dance classes and workshops. In 2012, he created, together with three other P.A.R.T.S graduating students, the piece 111-1 which toured in seven different countries. After school, he worked with the theater director Mokhallad Rasem (Iraq-Belgium) on the piece Romeo & Julia at Toneelhuis (Antwerp). He was also part of the P.A.R.T.S.-revival of Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker’s Zeitung in 2013. In 2014-2015, he participated in the creation of Primitive for Action Scénique/Claire Croizé (France/Belgium). Meanwhile, he started dancing for Noé Soulier (France), with whom he toured throughout 2015-2016. Dos Santos joined Rosas in 2015 and has since performed Drumming, Rain, A Love Supreme (2017), Zeitung (2017), Mystery Sonatas / for Rosa (2022), EXIT ABOVE (2023), and Il Cimento dell’Armonia e dell’Inventione (2024) and participated in the museum projects Work/Travail/Arbeid (2015), the Dark Red series and Forêt (2022).

  • Léa Dubois

    In 2008 Léa Dubois (1990, Belgium) finished her schooling at the Royal Ballet School of Antwerp, where she had an intensive training in classical and contemporary dance. There, she  collaborated for the first time with choreographers Kudo Satoshi and Andy Deneys. From 2009 until 2014, Léa worked in The Netherlands and Germany with companies such as Dansgroep Amsterdam (with Itzik Galili and Krisztina De Châtel), Dance Works Rotterdam (with André Gingras), but also with choreographers such as Nanine Linning, Sandra Marin Garcia, Zoran Markovic, Isabelle Chaffaud,… In 2014, she returned to Brussels to start working with Ultima Vez, Wim Vandekeybus's company, for the remake of the piece What The Body Does Not Remember. Since 2016, she has been dancing with Rosas, Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker's company, in pieces such as Rain, Rosas danst Rosas, Achterland, and Drumming. Currently, she continues to work as a freelance dancer with Rosas. In 2021, she created the piece Chimère with and for Laura Bachman. In 2023, she played one of the main roles in the movie L(oo)ping, which centers around the musician Rone. The film was directed by Louise Narboni and produced by Arte. Since 2023, she has joined La Guimbarde, a theater company for young audiences based in Charleroi, for the piece Lisières and for a new creation that is still in the making. In April 2024, Léa premiered her first own creation in Les Halles de Schaerbeek, called Le Goût Du Drame.

  • Synne Elve Enoksen

    Synne Elve Enoksen (1993) is a dancer and performer from Norway, based in Brussels, Belgium. Educated at the University of Stavanger in Norway, and P.A.R.T.S. (Performing Arts Research and Training Studios), Brussels. Enoksen has previously worked with Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker for Somnia (2019), Forêt (2022), Sand/Encore 1Été (2023) and Y (2024), with tg STAN for Klytaimnḗstra (2022), with Némo Flouret for 900 Something Days Spent in the XXth Century (2021), with Magdalene Solli for dølge (2022), with Rina Rosenqvist for MASS (2023) and Inés Belli for Epic Desire, Monumental Longing (2024), among others.

  • Nathan Felix-Rivot

    After graduating from the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp, Nathan Felix-Rivot (1999, France) worked with contemporary artists such as Michiel Vandevelde, Eva Reiter-Schäfer (Ictus ensemble), Benjamin Abel Meirhaeghe and Anthea Hamilton. He also produces his own work for both theaters and open air venues such as Szigets festival in Budapest. Nathan began his artistic practice at the age of 8 at Toulouse’s contemporary circus school « Le Lido », where he discovered a strong connection to various disciplines and practices, such as aerials, acrobatics and theater. The mixture of social environments in which he grew up and his experiences in different fields : collective sports, martial arts, Brazilian/African music, fashion, social and economic studies… have a strong influence on his current work and artistic approach. The versatility of techniques, the freedom of bodies and play with sounds, rhythm and voices are elements that define his identity as a dancer and a performer. 

  • Rafa Galdino

    Rafael Galdino (1996, Brazil) started his dance education in 2012 at the Escola Livre De Dança da Maré in Rio de Janeiro. He was part of the technical, artistic, and vocational training project Núcleo 2, founded by the choreographers Lia Rodrigues and Silvia Soter. As a student, Galdino collaborated and performed in Exercício M., de Movimento e de Maré (2013), an experimental work directed by Lia Rodrigues Companhia de Danças. In 2014, he participated in an international collaboration project at the Centre Intermondes, La Rochelle, France, with SINE QUA NON ART, the artistic company directed by choreographers Christophe Béranger and Jonathan Pranlas-Descours. Between 2016 and 2019, he studied at P.A.R.T.S., Brussels. In 2019, he participated in Somnia, directed by Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker and Jolente De Keersmaeker, with the 12th generation of P.A.R.T.S students. He also took part in the creation of the piece Let It All Out by the choreographer Cristian Duarte for the GXII Festival at P.A.R.T.S. He joined Rosas for the revival of Bartòk/Beethoven/Schönberg (2019), and has since danced in Zeitigung (2017), the Dark Red series, Mystery Sonatas / for Rosa (2022) and Forêt (2022). Rafael is also part of EXIT ABOVE (2023).

  • Carlos Garbin

    Carlos Garbin (Brazil, 1980) started his career at Companhia Municipal de Dança de Caxias do Sul in 1998. At the same time, he worked as a choreographer with local children for the social art project BPM – Batidas Por Minuto. In 2004, Carlos moved to Brussels, where he graduated from P.A.R.T.S. in 2008. During his studies, he was a dance teacher at Dancingkids. Carlos Garbin joined Rosas for the creation of The Song (2009). He subsequently danced in En Atendant (2010), Cesena (2011), Drumming (2012), Vortex Temporum (2013), Twice (2013), Work/Travail/Arbeid (2015), Golden Hours (as you like it) (2015), The Six Brandenburg Concertos (2018) and EXIT ABOVE (2023). Carlos also participated in the museum projects Dark Red Research Project (2020) and Dark Red - Kolumba (2020), and was the Artistic Assistant on Mitten wir im Leben sind/Bach6CelloSuiten (2016) and on the opera Così fan tutte (2017). Apart from Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker/Rosas, Carlos also collaborated on productions by other artists, including David Zambrano (Soul Project, 2006), Gabel Eiben (30 Something, 2020) and Lara Barsacq (Fruit Tree, 2021). Carlos Garbin has been playing country blues guitar for more than ten years. He traveled to the United States many times, to study and perform. He played the guitar in multiple Rosas productions, including The Song, Golden hours, Twice, Dark Red- Kolumba and currently EXIT ABOVE.

  • Nina Godderis

    Nina Godderis (1999, Belgium) started dancing and practicing judo in southern France. At the age of 12, she participated in the re-creation of the piece Three Generations by choreographer Jean-Claude Gallotta. She studied dance at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Toulouse (France) for 5 years, while also pursuing an education in science. In 2016, she joined Marion Muzac's project Ladies First and went on tour for one year in France and Belgium. After graduating from the conservatory and from high school, she prepared for the entrance exam for the Institute of Political Science. The same year, she joined the Centre National de Danse Contemporaine d'Angers (France). A year later, in September 2019, she joined P.A.R.T.S. (Brussels, training cycle), from which she graduated in July 2022. She joined the Rosas in January 2023 to participate in EXIT ABOVE (2023). She also participated in the museum project Y (2024) at Museum Folkwang in Essen.

  • Marie Goudot

    Marie Goudot (1978, France) trained at Maurice Béjart's Rudra school, and began her career as a performer in 1998. After working with various dance companies throughout Europe for several years, she initiated a research project on movement and creation, together with Julien Monty and Michael Pomero. In 2005, they founded the collective Loge 22. With European artists from different backgrounds, they also started the artistic platform and traveling festival SPIDER and SPIDER EXPAND. Loge 22 already presented a dozen creations, including Rubaïs, Compresse et Reduction, Angle Mort, Unisson, SurFace, Comme être de l'émiettement, Konkreiheit, Rumeurs... 

    Marie Goudot has collaborated with artists and choreographers Russell Maliphant, Pierre Droulers, Saša Božić, Chrysa Parkinson, François Laroche-Valière, Mark Lorimer, Ula Sickle and the Ictus Ensemble. Since 2010, she also worked with choreographer Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker/Rosas on the creations Cesena (2011), Vortex Temporum (2013), Work/Travail/Arbeid (2015), Così fan tutte (2017), Mitten wir im Leben sind/Bach6Cellosuiten (2017), The Six Brandenburg Concertos (2018), the revival of the piece En Atendant (2022), as well as the Dark Red series and 5Agon (2023). Marie is part of P.A.R.T.S., and has been involved in the development of the school's pedagogical approach since 2016. She is currently a tutor for the Master/STUDIOS students. She teaches and gives workshops at P.A.R.T.S, at the CNSMD in Paris, Summerschool, Impulstanz... In 2022, she co-founded YOUNGSTERS, a platform that brings together international artists based in Brussels and is committed to making the arts accessible to young Brussels residents in all their diversity. Marie is currently also preparing several new creations: Partager le Vide, a duet with Sophia Dinkel; After Hannibal, a duet with Michael Pomero; and Gasherbrum, a project initiated by Julien Monty.

  • Yuika Hashimoto

    Yuika Hashimoto (1991, Japan) has been dancing since she was 3 years old, taking lessons with Yoshie Nagai in Ishikawa. She continued her dance education in Tokyo, where she graduated from the Japan Women’s College of Physical Education in March 2014. She graduated from P.A.R.T.S. (Brussels) in June 2016. She has been collaborating with "Scarbo" saxophone quartet (Belgium) for the project PAGINE since 2015. Yuika joined Rosas in 2016 for the revival of Rain. She has been performing most of the early works, and participated in the Dark Red projects. Since 2022, Yuika has worked as a freelancer with Rosas, fieldworks (Belgium/Norway) and nïm company (Austria). On a volunteer basis, she gives dance workshops to people with mental disabilities at Bind Kracht

  • Fumiyo Ikeda

    In 1979, Fumiyo Ikeda (1962, Japan) entered MUDRA, Maurice Béjart’s dance school in Brussels, where she met Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker. In 1983, she was one of the founding members/dancers of Rosas. Between 1983 and 2008, she contributed to the creation of and danced in almost all Rosas productions. She was also part of Rosas films, including Ottone Ottone and Rosa. Since 2007, Fumiyo Ikeda has developed her own artistic trajectory. In 2007, she created Nine Finger with Benjamin Verdonck and Alain Platel. This performance was selected for the Festival d’Avignon 2007 and toured extensively internationally. After that, she created the solo in pieces, a collaboration with British theatre maker and director of Forced Entertainment Tim Etchells. She performed in Life and Times, Episode 2, a performance by Nature Theater of Oklahoma (2010). In 2013, she created amness with Japanese choreographer Un Yamada. In 2014, she created Cross Grip with three Japanese dancers and percussionist Kuniko Kato. In 2015, she choreographed and performed Absence with Frank Focketyn, directed by Peter Verhelst (NTGent) and Eric Joris (CREW). In 2016, she choreographed and performed De Sleutel directed by Josse De Pauw. In 2017, Fumiyo Ikeda choreographed and performed a solo to Piano and String Quartet by Morton Feldman, performed live by Ictus. In 2022 she performed and choreographed Missa Mater Sola with Timo Tembuyser. In 2024 she created and performed in Benjamin Abel Meirhaeghe’s Shelly Shonk Fiffit and Timo Tembuysers Missa Mama Nova. She regularly teaches workshops, was a guest teacher at KASK, and is the rehearsal director for the early work of Rosas.

  • Anika Edström Kawaji

    Anika Edström Kawaji (1994, Sweden) studied at P.A.R.T.S. (Brussels) from 2013 to 2016. After graduating, she joined Rosas/Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker on a full-time basis for five years. Since 2020, she has been active as a freelance dancer for Rosas, as well as for fieldworks, Robin Jonsson, Francesco Scavetta/Wee and Femke Gyselinck, among others. In addition, she develops her own work together with artists based in Brussels and Stockholm. She is also part of the Brussels-based collective platform YOUNGSTERS, which creates and arranges spaces for exchange between artists and young people in Brussels.

  • Robson Ledesma

    Robson Ledesma (1994, Brazil) is a performer and dancer based in Brussels. At the age of 9, Robson began his dance journey at the Escola Municipal de Bailado, at the Theatro Municipal de São Paulo, where he trained in classical ballet and different modern, contemporary and Brazilian folk dance techniques. In the last four years at this institution, he was a member of the school’s junior company, Corpo de Baile Jovem Municipal, where he danced works by various Brazilian choreographers. 

    In 2011, Robson became an intern in the professional company Balé da Cidade de São Paulo. That same year, he was invited by choreographer and director Luiz Fernando Bongiovanni to join his work. Robson began working as a freelancer, and collaborated on and performed in three different productions by Luiz as well as in the works of Ismael Ivo and Allan Falieri. 

    In 2016, Robson was accepted as a student at P.A.R.T.S. (Performing Arts Research and Training Studios) and moved to Brussels, Belgium, to continue his artistic development as a performer, dancer, and collaborator. There he studied and participated in creations with many great and inspiring professionals, such as Salva Sanchis, Martin Nachbar, Samuel Wentz, David Hernandez, Diane Madden, Fabrice Mazliah, Cristian Duarte. Throughout the three years of the program, he was mentored by Lise Vachon, Sandy Williams and Manon Santkin. 

    After graduating from P.A.R.T.S. in 2019, Robson began working professionally in Europe with choreographers including Michiel Vandevelde in Dances of Death, Michèle Anne De Mey in the re-adaptation of Sinfonia Eroica, Marc Vanrunxt in the theater piece 4.48 with actress Sara De Bosschere, (based on a true story) #6, Hyena Hyena, Bruno Freire in Matamatá, Alan Lucien Øyen in Story, story, die, among others. In 2024, Robson premiered his first solo creation Dona Lourdès in collaboration with sound artist Némo Camus and dramaturg Nathalia Kloos, and began working with Rosas, joining the cast of EXIT ABOVE and of Y, a new creation for the Museum Folkwang.

  • Cynthia Loemij

    Cynthia Loemij (1969, the Netherlands) took a teacher-training course at the Rotterdam dance academy, where she obtained her diploma in 1991. Since then she has been a member of Rosas. She started her career with ERTS (1992) and Mozart/Concert Arias. un moto di gioia (1992) and was then involved in the creation of more than 30 of the company’s creations or revivals. She danced in the revivals of Achterland, Rosas danst Rosas, Elena’s Aria and Mikrokosmos, and in the film versions of Achterland and Rosas danst Rosas. In 2006, she took part in Nusch, a play by theater company Stan. In 2009, she danced the duet Prélude à la Mer with Mark Lorimer, in the film of the same name by Thierry De Mey. She appeared in Kris Verdonck’s End and collaborated with Manon de Boer on the installations Dissonant and Mirror Modulation. With David Zambrano, she created a duet, as part of the performance Holes. Cynthia Loemij also taught at P.A.R.T.S. (Brussels), the Panetta Movement Centre and Movement Research (New York), Dance Works (Rotterdam), and for the opéra Garnier (retake of Rain) and the Lisbon ballet. In 2011, she founded the company OVAAL with Mark Lorimer, and created the performances To Intimate and Dancesmith – Camel, Weasel, Whale. In 2020 she assisted Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker for the creation of the choreography for West Side Story on Broadway. She also teaches Rosas repertoire to Opera Ballet Vlaanderen and is a freelance dancer and dance teacher.

  • Solal Mariotte

    Solal Mariotte (2001, France) discovered dance through Hip Hop. Since 2020, he travels with and participates in many events by the breakdance crew Above The Blood. He studied at the conservatory of Annecy and continued his training at P.A.R.T.S., from which he graduated in 2022. During his studies, he took part in various creative projects and started developing his own choreographic language. He was noticed for his solo dance performance, which he continues to present to this day. As a performer, he danced in the piece Any attempt will end in crushed bodies and shattered bones by Jan Martens, before joining Rosas in 2023 for EXIT ABOVE.

  • Mariana Miranda

    Mariana Miranda (1996, Brazil) finished her studies in contemporary dance at Bolshoi Theater School in Brazil in 2014. The following year, she participated in the Biblioteca do Corpo project (directed by Ismael Ivo) for the creation of Das Tripas Coração, which premiered at the ImPulsTanz festival in Vienna with subsequent touring in Brazil. Between 2016 and 2019, Miranda studied at P.A.R.T.S., where she performed works by Trisha Brown, Boris Charmatz, and Cristian Duarte. She also took part in Somnia by Jolente and Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker. After graduating in 2019, she performed in Screws and Snake Arms by Alexander Vantournhout and collaborated with Wai Lok Chan for the creation of /bɪˈtwiːn/. She joined Rosas in 2020 for the revival of Drumming and has since also danced in the Dark Red series, Mystery Sonatas / for Rosa (2022) and Forêt (2022). Mariana is also part of EXIT ABOVE (2023).

  • Julien Monty

    Having graduated from the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse in Paris in 1997, Julien Monty (1978, France) joined the ballet company at the opera house in Nice. He then leaves the world of ballet to join different contemporary dance companies in Norway : B-Valiente Kompani, Jo Strömgren Kompani and the company of Nye Carte Blanche. When he returned to France, he joined the Ballet Preljocaj for two seasons. Subsequently, he worked with the ballet company of the Opera of Lyon. Since 2001 he works very closely with François Laroche-Valière. In 2005, Julien Monty co-founded the Collectif Loge 22 with Marie Goudot and Michaël Pomero in Lyon, in which he works as a choreographer and dancer. Together they have created a dozen pieces and choreographic events, and helped set up a traveling cooperative of European artists: SPIDER. In 2010, he joined Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker's company, Rosas. He took part as a dancer in the creation of five pieces:  Cesena (2011), Vortex Temporum (2013), Work/Travail/Arbeid (2015), Così fan tutte (2017) and Mitten wir im Leben sind/Bach6Cellosuiten (2017). He is also regularly called upon by Boris Charmatz to take part in 20 danseurs pour le XXème siècle. From September 2020 to September 2022, he taught contemporary dance at the CNSMD in Lyon. Since 2022, he is also assistant choreographer for the collective (La)Horde and rehearsal director at the Ballet National de Marseille since 2022.

  • Laura Maria Poletti

    Laura-Maria Poletti (Corsica,1992) started her professional dance education in 2009 at Paris National Conservatoire (CNSMDP), while simultaneously studying English literature at the  University Paris Diderot. In 2013, Laura-Maria joined the Training cycle of P.A.R.T.S (Brussels), where she graduated in 2016. During the fall of 2014, she performed Spanish Dance with the Trisha Brown Dance Company in Leuven. She worked again under the direction of Diane Madden  and Carolyn Lucas as an intern for the repertory performances of the Trisha Brown Dance  Company in BAM in January 2016. She joined Rosas for the revival of Rain in 2016. Since then,  she has been part of revivals of pieces such as Fase, Four Movements to the Music of Steve  Reich, Rosas danst Rosas and Drumming, as well as creations like Dark Red - Beyeler (2021) or Mystery  Sonatas / for Rosa (2022). She is now working on her new research project aNOTHER rHAPSODY.

  • Michaël Pomero

    Michael Pomero (1980, France) has been active on the European choreographic scene for 25 years, as a dancer, performer, assistant, choreographer, and teacher. Based in Brussels since 2010, his eclectic career first took him to Switzerland (Rudra Béjart, Béjart Ballet), then to France (Lyon Opera Ballet, John Jasperse), and subsequently to England (Russell Maliphant). Between 2006 and 2023, he collaborated closely with Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker as a dancer and/or assistant for the creation of 7 choreographic pieces (The Song (2009), Vortex Temporum (2013), Die Weise von Liebe und Tod des Cornets Christoph Rilke (2015), Mitten wir im Leben sind/Bach6Cellosuiten (2017)...), an opera (Così fan tutte (2017)), a musical (West Side Story (2020)) as well as museum and site-specific projects, such as Work/Travail/Arbeid (2015), Somnia (2019), Dark Red, and 5Agon (2023). With Marie Goudot and Julien Monty, Michael founded Loge 22, a collective and choreographic laboratory. He participated in more than 10 of its creations since 2005. With Loge 22 and Matej Kejzar, he founded the international art cooperative SPIDER, which organized gatherings across Europe from 2010 to 2016. Since 2016, Michael is a member of P.A.R.T.S., where he is in charge of composition. He teaches and gives workshops at P.A.R.T.S., CNSMD in Paris, Summerschool, KASK... In 2022, he co-founded YOUNGSTERS, a platform bringing together international artists based in Brussels who are committed to artistic encounters with young people. Michael is also part of a European research group on "Diversity in Higher Dance Education in Europe" (P.A.R.T.S., La Manufacture, SKH, Amsterdam University).

  • Margarida Ramalhete

    Margarida Ramalhete (1997, Portugal) is a freelance dance artist based in Brussels, and born in Porto, Portugal. She started to dance at the age of six, and studied at the Ginasiano dance school in Porto, and the contemporary department of Mariemma Royal Dance Conservatory in Madrid. In 2019,  she completed the Training Cycle at P.A.R.T.S. She worked as an intern on theatermaker Thomas Ryckewaert’s lecture performance Move 37. As a dancer, she currently performs in the works of Némo Flouret, Miet Warlop, Anneleen Keppens, Maud Le Pladec, and Michèle Anne de Mey. Since 2020, she has been working with Rosas for the revival of Drumming, Forêt (2022), and EXIT ABOVE (2023). In addition, she enjoys teaching workshops around improvisation and conscious body mechanics and textures. She works as a rehearsal director for After All Springville (…) of Miet Warlop. She has worked as a choreographic assistant for Solène Wachter’s For You Not For You, and Guilhem Chatir’s Vertiges. Also, she has worked as a videographer for Tessa Hall, Solène Wachter, and Synne Enoksen’s triptych event She Sat in Room, and has been a ballet assistant to the renowned ballet pedagogue Janet Panetta.

  • Ursula Robb

    Ursula (1969, New Zealand) trained at the New Zealand School of Dance and performed with the Royal New Zealand Ballet and the Douglas Wright Dance Company before heading to Europe in 1995. While living in Europe from 1995 – 2005 she danced with Wim Vandekeybus /Ultima Vez, Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker /Rosas, and Thomas Hauert /Zoo. She returned to New Zealand and became a founding member of the New Zealand Dance Company, directed by Shona McCullagh. Ursula now works as a tutor and rehearsal director at dance schools and dance companies in Europe, including the Paris Opera, Lyon Opera, Rosas, P.A.R.T.S., the Danish National School of Performing Arts, and the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance at the University of Limerick in Ireland. Ursula holds an MA in Arts Management and Cultural Policy and lives in Ireland with her partner and two children.

  • Cintia Sebők

    Cintia Sebők (1995, Hungary) studied at Győri Dance and Fine Arts School in Hungary from 2007 to 2014. After completing her studies, she worked with several Hungarian choreographers. She joined the Central Europe Dance Company and worked with Kláry Pataki in Notes and We live happily. In 2016, she was admitted to P.A.R.T.S., from which she graduated in 2019. During her studies, she created a duet with Stanley Olivier called Sorry not Sorry, worked with Boris Charmatz on 1000 Gestures, interned with Rosas, and was part of the creation of Somnia by Anne Teresa and Jolente De Keersmaeker. Cintia Sebők joined Rosas for the revival of Bartók/Beethoven/Schönberg and Drumming. Before she joined Rosas full time, she worked with Patrik Kelem and collaborators on Cryptik Bodies. Since then, she took part in the creation of the Rosas productions Mystery Sonatas / for Rosa (2022) and Forêt (2022) at Musée du Louvre, Paris. She is also part of EXIT ABOVE (2023).

  • Jacob Storer

    Jacob Storer (1992, USA) graduated in 2016 from P.A.R.T.S. and joined Trisha Brown Dance Company in 2017. He was involved in the creation of choreography with Rosas for West Side Story on Broadway in 2019, and in 2020 he joined Rosas until 2024. Jacob is currently based in Brussels, collaborating on projects as dramaturg or performer, developing work, and teaching. He has previously taught at Charleroi Danse, Brussels; NYU Tisch School of the Arts, New York; Mimar Sinan Güzel Sanatlar Üniversitesi, Istanbul; and P.A.R.T.S., Brussels.

  • Clinton Stringer

    Clinton Stringer (1975) was born and raised in South Africa. After studying for an Arts Degree there, he moved to Belgium to attend P.A.R.T.S. where he spent two years. In 2000, Clinton joined Rosas/Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker. Over the course of nine years he was involved in many creations and restagings of repertoire pieces including Rain, Drumming, April Me, Raga for the Rainy Season, Mozart Concert Arias and Bitches Brew. In 2011 and 2014, he was involved in the re-staging of Rain at the Opéra de Paris. Freelance dance projects include Dancesmith (2013) with Mark Lorimer and Cynthia Loemij; Volcano (2014) and You Can’t Take it With You (2017) with Liz Kinoshita; and Gerhard Richter (2017) with Mårten Spångberg. Clinton has also taught technique and Rosas masterclasses at P.A.R.T.S., the Opera de Lyon, the Opéra de Paris, the Danish National School of Performing Arts and the University of the Arts (Philadelphia). In 2019, he became Associate Choreographer of the West Side Story revival on Broadway, assisting choreographer, Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker during the audition and creation process. He is currently rehearsal director for EXIT ABOVE (2023) of Rosas.

  • Jakub Truszkowski

    Jakub Truszkowski (1977, Poland) started his dance training in 1987 at the State Ballet School in Gdansk, where he obtained his degree in 1996 and he performed several classical pieces in the Opera House of Gdansk. In 1996 Jakub was admitted to Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker’s school P.A.R.T.S., graduating in 1999. In January 2000 Jakub joined the company Rosas, dancing in the revival of Drumming, Mozart / Concert Arias, Mikrokosmos and participating to the creation of In real time, Rain, April Me, Repertory Evening (2002), Bitches Brew / Tacoma Narrows, Kassandra, and The Six Brandenburg Concertos (2018). In 2008 he joined the company Les Ballets C de la B, dancing in Import Export and participating in the creation of Ashes. He is a teacher at P.A.R.T.S. (Brussels) and guest teacher at several other schools including De Theaterschool, Amsterdam and The Folkwang University of the Arts, Essen. As a rehearsal director, he participated in staging of Rosas repertory at Opéra de Lyon, P.A.R.T.S., Opéra de Paris, Companhia Nacional de Bailado and Opera Ballet Vlaanderen. In 2019 he participated in the creation of West side Story by Ivo van Hove on Broadway. As a choreographer he created several works including: BodyScapes, White Noise, Today, Everything, TotoTo, Vibration of a Single String, Present Continuous and Stand/Still.

  • Ariadna Navarrete Valverde

    Ariadna Navarrete Valverde (2000, Costa Rica) started her artistic studies in 2013 at the Conservatorio de Castella, where she was trained in contemporary dance, classical ballet, theater, music and visual arts. After graduating in 2017, she worked with choreographers including Henriette Borbon, Carmen Calderon, Erick Jimenez, Nandayure Harley, and performed at the XXXIV Graciela Moreno’s Choreographers Festival. In 2018, she continued her studies in the Dance School of the National University of Costa Rica (UNA). In the same year, she performed with the Chamber Dance Company UNA, directed by Nandayure Harley. Later in 2019, she started the Training Cycle of P.A.R.T.S, Brussels, which she completed in 2022. During the Training Cycle, she performed works by Trisha Brown, Fabrice Mazliah, Maria Hassabi, Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker. She also made her own work, which was presented at Dansand Festival, 2021 and GXIII Festival, 2022. In 2023, Ariadna joined Rosas for EXIT ABOVE.

  • Samantha van Wissen

    Samantha van Wissen (1970) was born in the Netherlands, where she studied at the Rotterdamse Dans Academie. She moved to Brussels to work with Rosas/ Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker. Participating in creations and repertory pieces such as Rosas danst Rosas (1983), Mikrokosmos (1987), Achterland (1990), Drumming (1998), Mozart/Concert Arias.Un moto di gioia (1996), Elena’s Aria (1984), Verklärte Nacht (1995), Work/Travail/Arbeid (2015), The Six Brandenburg Concertos (2018) and the opera Così fan tutte (2017). Since 1998, she’s one of the core members of ZOO/Thomas Hauert and has collaborated on Cows in Space, Pop-Up Songbook, Jetzt, Verosimile, “5”, Walking Oscar, Puzzled, Accords, You’ve Changed, La Valse, Mono, How to Proceed and If Only. In Brussels, she met Inne Goris, a Belgian theater director, and worked with her on two children’s theatre pieces: Droesem and De Drie Zusters. During the creation of How to Proceed (ZOO), she met the Swiss theater director François Gremaud, of 2b company. This encounter was the start of the solo called Giselle, which Francçois Gremaud wrote for her. In 2023, she received the Prix De Meilleure Interprète De La Saison 2023, and the Prix du Syndicat Professionnel de la Critique de Théâtre, de Musique et de Danse for her role in Giselle. She worked together with the Belgian choreographer Marc Vanrunxt in 2024 for the creation Freie Form. Besides performing, she teaches workshops at Impulstanz Vienna, P.A.R.T.S in Brussels, and Dans/AP Hogeschool in Antwerp. She is also passionate about working with non-professional dancers, and has been invited to teach in different places. She’s also a certified Iyengar Yoga teacher.
